Hollywood Cemetery: Experimental
So appropriate to bury something in a cemetery
A little bit of stop motion animation...
If you're not quite sure what's going on here, I just ripped up the paper and let the wind blow it away.
*Sorry my projects seem so sad. I promise, I'm a pretty positive person. (...unless I lose my keys in 135 acres of cemetery.)

Pen & Ink Self-Portrait
When I started this project, I actually found that Valerie's way of moving around the paper, came naturally. This was inspired by the Beatles' album "Revolver", which is why parts of it are shaded realistically and other parts are just made up of lines. This reveals a lot about my personality because of the larger eyes and smaller mouths. I'm a quiet person with a lot of thoughts!

3. Fashion Design
The examples for fashion design were definitely inspiring. To think that I could actually design my own clothes is really amazing.
There wasn't much going on in the fashion department. Just some dress forms hanging out.
Seeing the fabric on the table was nice. I would've liked to see some examples of student work though!
2. Graphic Design
The graphic design floor was a little more interesting. The bright yellow walls were nice to see! Also, the posters were more exciting and colorful.
I don't understand why there are big circles on the wall that say "Subte."
I first wondered why I didn't see any computers. Then I guessed by this point that the students should definitely have there own computers. However, graphic design uses photoshop, and photoshop is expensive. How do they expect students to download it?
1. Interior Design
My first choice for my major is Interior Design. When I got off of the elevator, I enjoyed looking at the posters of interior design projects. It made me excited about doing it one day!
The first classroom I saw was empty. I thought it was kind of strange how plain the room was for being an interior design room. I would've liked to see something more exciting going on! At least the chairs look comfortable.
I walked by this classroom while I was there too. I believe it might have been an interior design project class. The students were using paper plates to make a model perhaps? It was interesting, and I hope to take that class next semester.
